Question about the knee-to-hip-raise:
I've wound up doing these while lying under a bar a few cm over my nose to keep me stable, pushing upwards with my palms while raising my feet straightened out all the way until my legs are at a 90 degree angle, and then doing the hip raise, then slowly coming back down in a controlled manner. Just wondering if there's a particular reason why a lot of people seem to choose raising the knees towards your head instead of going straight up in a circular motion with your legs straight?
What I'm doing feels like I'm getting more out of it for each rep, but I dunno I could be damaging myself. Been doing this for two months and my back feels totally normal, not feeling any problems elsewhere either. My guess is that it's done this way here as it would be too intense to go along with all the rest of this for 10 min straight, but I could be wrong, so just checking in.
