Hello, I play the guitar since 3 months, this tutorial is insanely easy to understand, even for an absolute beginner like me. What I don't understand is, how du I find songs, that fit with this kind of pattern? Can anybody help me out?
I've been pretty good with chords but always shied away from finger picking, this lesson has given me a lot of confidence. Looking foward to the rest of the lessons!

For a 75 yr. old guy trying to follow along but struggling a bit, I have a suggestion: Call the string the number string it is and forget 1 2 and 3 and 4. Call it 4 3 2 4 3 etc. It is difficult to see the strings even up close.
Great lesson! I’m new on the guitar and I was able to pull this off by the end of my first play-through. I love your no nonsense style, patiently putting it all together. It was a great idea to start with the bass beats, then slowly add instead of what I’ve been trying, which is to put all the notes in one after the other. Starting with the bass beat helped me keep the rhythm going, while slowly adding difficulty. Soon I was able to speed up, too!
