And that is how you get a thumbs up. Won't be able to get this out of my head until I make it.
One suggestion, (which someone might have already)…I would add a lil water to the corn starch, should give it a better coating? If you've tried and it didn't work, let me know why lol. It works when I cook beef stir fry for the slur. But I'm thinking, to get that all over crunch (unless it achieves the right amount your way) and not the thickness, to do it where it's a thicker form than slur. I'm still learning, kinda…not to cook, but how food properties work with each other and what they would produce when combined.
This is very similar to how I prep my shrimp in terms of ingredients, although I also add white wine when I add the garlic to the pan. I also add a little bit of red pepper (or cayenne pepper), a little seasoned salt, and a little bit of chili powder. I'll cook off the alcohol and simultaneously cook the garlic a bit before adding my shrimp. I dont cook my shrimp prior to that. I dont start cooking my shrimp until after i cook the garlic for a bit, so it has more cooking time with the garlic. I dont add my butter until right after I add the shrimp. Butter doesnt need pre cooking time when I pre cook the garlic/white wine. The butter will get all the cooking time with the shrimp. In the beginning when pre seasoning my shrimp, I also add a bit of oil to it. Its better to have it pre oiled when adding it to the pan. Once done, I will generally add it to rice (ricemaker) or spaghetti pasta (for shrimp scampi.. 7min boiled). I'll cook the rice or pasta while I cook the shrimp. If I add it to pasta, I will grate plenty of Parmesan Reggiano onto it. Its so good.

(First, no disrespect to the creator of this video) looking through the comments, I'm amazed at how many people can't cook !! I'm pretty sure I cook better than this, because she barely seasoned them, but she did cook them properly. I've been cooking since 9, and I'm turning 48 next week, I took culinary arts classes, to become a better cook. Cooking isn't hard, you just cant be lazy!! You have to care about what you're doing!!
Is the temperature medium or medium high?
